Ronda Rousey's Best Booking Options After Win at WrestleMania 34
Ronda Rousey won her debut match Sunday night at WrestleMania 34 alongside Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in New Orleans, meaning the stage is set for a long-term run in WWE.
Rousey forced McMahon to tap out in the armbar to win what was an entertaining bout and an outstanding debut for the former UFC women's bantamweight champion.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
While Women's Championship runs and WrestleMania main events may be in Rousey's future, it is important for WWE to build toward that slowly to avoid the risk of alienating its fanbase.
After a good performance on The Grandest Stage of Them All, Rousey appears to have the WWE Universe behind her. That's a good omen in terms of her continued development as one of WWE's top Superstars.
It is unclear how often WWE intends to have Rousey perform, but the next major pay-per-view isn't until SummerSlam in August.
If Rousey doesn't compete until then, it would make sense to build toward a blockbuster match against Charlotte Flair.
Provided she does work a match before that, however, Rousey is in need of a transitional feud.
Backlash, Money in the Bank and Extreme Rules would all receive a boost from Rousey's presence, and while it is probably unlikely she'll be part of all three shows, getting her on one of them would increase interest significantly.
The Raw roster stands to change in the near future because of an impending Superstar Shake-up, but based on who competes for the red brand currently, Sonya Deville makes a lot of sense in terms of being Rousey's next opponent.
Deville is still fairly new to the main roster, but she has an MMA background like Rousey and enough legitimacy in that sense to look like a true threat to the Olympic bronze-medal-winning judoka.
She also already has some history with Rousey since Absolution confronted Rousey on Raw a couple of weeks ago.
Rousey beat down Deville and Mandy Rose. It stands to reason Deville will want revenge from a storyline standpoint.
Also, Absolution has a quality mouthpiece in Paige, and she can carry the mail when it comes to mic work, which is an area Rousey is still trying to improve.
There isn't much drama to be had in a transitional feud for Rousey since she clearly has to win it, but a good story can still be told.
With Absolution having the numbers advantage over Rousey, pitting her against Deville would be a good way of getting Rowdy some babyface sympathy since she would be tasked with overcoming the odds to some degree.
It would also allow Rousey to have her first singles match, which would better prepare her for a huge bout with someone like Charlotte at SummerSlam.
The smart long-term booking for Rousey is likely to make her Asuka's opponent next year at WrestleMania 35, but getting to that point requires a progression.
Facing Deville isn't likely to go down as one of Rousey's greatest career accomplishments once her time in WWE done, but it's a necessary step that will put her in a position to thrive in the coming months and years.
