Jordan Matthews Rumors: WR Meeting with Packers
The Green Bay Packers are doing their due diligence on free-agent wide receiver Jordan Matthews.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Matthews visited the Packers on Thursday as he continues to search for a new home following an injury-plagued year with the Buffalo Bills.
Matthews also visited the Arizona Cardinals last week, according to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson, but he left the desert without a deal.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A four-year veteran and former second-round draft pick, Matthews spent the first three years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Over 46 appearances in the City of Brotherly Love, Matthews posted 225 receptions for 2,673 yards and 19 touchdowns, 16 of which came during the 2014 and 2015 campaigns.
The Eagles then traded Matthews and a 2018 third-round pick to the Bills last August in exchange for cornerback Ronald Darby. However, the Vanderbilt product struggled to find a rhythm because knee and thumb injuries forced him to miss six games.
The 25-year-old finished his lone year in Buffalo with career lows in receptions (25), receiving yards (282) and touchdowns (one).
Given recent medical woes, it's hard to envision Green Bay committing to Matthews on a long-term deal.
But with the Packers in need of receiving reinforcements following Jordy Nelson's release, the Packers could do worse than bringing Matthews aboard as a flier on a one-year contract laced with performance-based incentives.
