Josh Norman Voices Displeasure After Washington Gets Eliminated from Playoffs
Week 14's 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers officially eliminated Washington from playoff contention. When signing with the squad in 2016, Josh Norman did not expect to toil in mediocrity.
After allowing at least 30 points and losing for the fourth time in five games, the outspoken cornerback voiced his frustrations Sunday.
"I came here to win a championship," Norman said after Washington dropped to 5-8, per Kimberley A. Martin of the Washington Post. "If we're not doing that, what are we doing? Why are we here?"

The All-Pro defender, who played in Super Bowl 50 for the Carolina Panthers, added that he's "not going to be a part" of a team that's not progressing toward winning it all.
"I don't care about anything," Norman said. "The only thing I care about is that ring. You can strip me however you want to—strip all the titles I have to my name. If I don't win a championship, that means it's all for nothing."
That goal will have to wait at least one more year.
