Per Spotrac, the 2017 season will be the final year of Turner's rookie contract, and he is set to make $1.79 million in base salary.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the deal was worth $45 million, with $20.5 million in guarantees.
Turner was a third-round draft pick by the Panthers in 2014 out of LSU, and he has quickly developed into one of the NFL's best guards.
The 24-year-old has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons, and he has started every game for Carolina since the start of the 2015 campaign.
Two years ago, Turner was a key part of a Panthers NFL line that blocked for the league's No. 2 rushing attack and protected the NFL MVP in quarterback Cam Newton.
Turner will continue to be one of the anchors of Carolina's interior offensive front along with center Ryan Kalil and left guard Andrew Norwell.
