Top Performers
Bryn Forbes

Forbes' sweet shooting during the summer of 2016 helped him land a spot on the regular season roster for the Spurs in 2016-17. This year, he's more than backed up the team's faith in him.
He's the leading scorer in Vegas, and he's putting up points in new ways. More impressive than his 10-of-28 (35.7 percent) shooting from three is his perfect 26-of-26 from the free throw line.
The efficiency there is obviously nice, but the volume might be even more important. The name of the game these days is threes and an ability to get to the line. The NBA's best scorers can do both.
And if Forbes can continue to grow in those two areas, he could find himself in a bigger role for the Spurs this coming season. He might even be their new Gary Neal.
Donovan Mitchell

In both Utah and Vegas, Mitchell has wowed on both sides of the ball. He's only shooting 36 percent from the field, but an ability to get to the line has mitigated that problem. And what he's doing defensively is unparalleled.
On Tuesday alone, Mitchell had eight steals against the Memphis Grizzlies. Draft Express posted video of all of them:
That game brought his average in Vegas up to a whopping six. The closest guy to him in that category is DeAndre Bembry at 3.3.
Mitchell appears to have an almost preternatural ability to sniff out an opposing offense's actions before they happen. He doesn't just jump passing lanes, he owns them.
John Collins

John Collins posted a ridiculous Player Efficiency Rating of 35.9 during his sophomore season at Wake Forest. That led the entire NCAA in 2016-17, per Sports Reference.
And that efficiency has translated to Vegas, at least in the early going.
Collins is shooting 60 percent from the field, second only to Rashad Vaughn among players who've taken at least 30 total shots.
And the way he's running the floor should ease some of the concerns about the traditional post player not being able to adapt to the modern NBA:
As Atlanta Hawks guard Malcolm Delaney put it on Twitter, "John Collins is a STEAL"
