Women's Matches Main-Event Back-to-Back Raw, SmackDown a First in WWE History
The WWE women's division made history this week, as female competitors main-evented Raw and SmackDown in succession for the first time ever.
On Raw, Sasha Banks won a gauntlet match over Nia Jax, Bayley, Emma, Dana Brooke and Mickie James to become No. 1 contender for Alexa Bliss' Raw Women's Championship.
That was followed up on SmackDown by Carmella's beating Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Natalya and Tamina to win the second women's Money in the Bank ladder match in WWE history.

The women main-eventing Raw came as something of a surprise since they weren't a focal point of the show in recent weeks, but they delivered when given the opportunity.
Jax put on an impressive performance by eliminating four Superstars before battling it out with The Boss and finally tapping to the Bank Statement.
Banks is now set to meet Bliss at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view with the title on the line.
On the blue brand, a controversial finish to the women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view led to a rematch.
James Ellsworth unhooked the briefcase and dropped it to Carmella at the pay-per-view, and while he got involved once again Tuesday, it was the Princess of Staten Island who secured the briefcase for herself.
With the win, Carmella now has a guaranteed SmackDown Women's Championship match at any time of her choosing, which means Naomi will be left looking over her shoulder.
WWE is set to make it three major shows in a row with women main-eventing Wednesday, as Asuka will defend the NXT Women's Championship against Nikki Cross in a Last Woman Standing match on NXT.
