Raheem Sterling to Make 'Substantial Donation' to Victims of Grenfell Tower Fire
Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling will make a "substantial donation" to the people affected by Wednesday's fire at Grenfell Tower.
According to BBC Sport's David Ornstein, Sterling said:
"This is a deep and sad situation, one that's close to my heart and hard to swallow. I would like to help in the best way I can.

"It is only a small step, but small steps lead to big changes if we all come together.
"My condolences to the affected families, also the individuals who lost their homes."
The fire, which engulfed the North Kensington tower block in the early hours of Wednesday morning, killed at least 17 people.
Per the BBC, fire services anticipate that death toll will rise as they do not believe they're likely to discover any more survivors.
Man City legend Franny Lee and Liverpool writer Leanne Prescott hailed Sterling's gesture:
The block is located just one mile away from Loftus Road, where the 22-year-old—who grew up in north-west London—began his youth career with Queens Park Rangers.
