Yoenis Cespedes Suffers Leg Injury vs. Padres After Nearly Hitting for Cycle
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes left Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres a single short of the cycle due to leg tightness.
According to Newsday's Marc Carig, Cespedes was pulled "as a precaution." However, it's unclear if he'll be ready to play Wednesday.

It's been an injury-plagued season for Cespedes, who missed all of May and the first part of June with a hamstring injury. He was brought along slowly when back in the lineup and has still played just 53 games in 2017.
A heel injury has also cost him some time.
"Sometimes it will be two weeks without feeling anything," Cespedes said through a translator, per Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News. "Sometimes it will hurt for three or four days. I've always just played through this. I am used to it."
Cespedes has remained stellar when healthy, though, slashing .284/.336/.515 with 10 home runs and 26 RBI.
