Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
When asked about Giants owner John Mara's comments stating he wanted Beckham to finish his career with the Giants, Beckham replied the two sides were "on the same page," via Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on June 7 that Beckham's "absence from OTAs is directly related to his desire for a new deal," but did note no one in Beckham's camp used those terms.
The 24-year-old will make $1.8 million next season in the fourth year of his rookie contract, per Spotrac.
Since being drafted 12th overall in 2014, Beckham has become one of the NFL's best wide receivers. He's made the Pro Bowl and has had at least 1,300 receiving yards with 10 touchdowns in each of his three seasons.
