WWE SmackDown: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for June 13
The go-home edition of WWE SmackDown will offer a taste of the chaos ready to arise at Money in the Bank.
Rivals will share the same ring, and in some cases, those set to battle at Sunday's pay-per-view will have to team together. Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton will get one last look at each other before fighting for the WWE Championship.
The PPV will be the blue brand's primary focus during its Tuesday night trip to New Orleans. The two Money in the Bank ladder matches, the SmackDown tag team title bout and the WWE Championship main event are all set to receive a healthy supply of hype.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
What matches are lined up for the latest episode? What can fans expect to see unfold?
Backstage news and the SmackDown preview on WWE.com help answer those questions before the blue brand hits the airwaves on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network.
News, Potential Spoilers
Get used to Lana being in the limelight. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc) noted that Lana is essentially taking over the spot planned for Eva Marie.
As high as WWE was on Marie in the past, that's good news for Lana.
Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net noted, "The dark main events advertised for tonight's SmackDown event are WWE champion Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton, and U.S. champion Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles." If WWE doesn't change its mind with these, Styles and Owens aren't going to go all out in their on-air match.
Each Superstar should be looking to pace himself, especially with a ladder match looming.
Tuesday's show may offer some insight into a possible change to John Cena's status. The current SmackDown star could soon be expanding his options.
PWInsider's Mike Johnson reported, "There is currently a creative pitch for Cena to be presented as a 'free agent' where he could conceivably go back and forth between Raw and SmackDown."
SmackDown Streaks
SmackDown's handling of Shinsuke Nakamura has left a lot to be desired, but The King of Strong Style's win-loss record remains spotless.
He knocked off United States champ Kevin Owens in non-title action last Tuesday to extend an ongoing streak. Per CageMatch.net, Nakamura has won all three of his SmackDown matches and is 4-0 since joining the main roster.
WWE is clearly treating him like a star, even if it isn't sure how to handle his uniqueness.
Tye Dillinger hasn't been nearly as active since his arrival. He is undefeated on the blue brand as well but has faded into the background of late.
The former NXT star hasn't wrestled on SmackDown since May 2, per CageMatch.net. He has since missed five consecutive episodes.
And the fact that he doesn't have anything lined up for the Money in the Bank PPV is a sign of how low of a priority he is right now.
Last Leg of Money in the Bank Build
Ahead of The New Day's title match with The Usos, both squads will partner up with another SmackDown team. Breezango will fight alongside The New Day. The Colons will team up with the champs.
That will give The Usos and The New Day a chance to escalate their feud.
Plus, it likely means The New Day will be involved with the latest "Fashion Files" segment. That was quite the entertaining combo last week.
The Superstars set to collide in the first women's Money in the Bank ladder match will get an early crack at each other too.
Charlotte Flair and Natalya will battle on Tuesday's SmackDown. Tamina will take on Naomi in non-title action.

SmackDown can help establish Tamina as a threat in the Money in the Bank match with a win over the champion. She already pinned Naomi in six-woman tag team action last week. As the biggest long shot in the ladder match field, the powerhouse needs all the momentum she can get.
As for the men's Money in the Bank ladder match, every Superstar signed up for the clash will meet in a six-man tag team bout Tuesday.
Nakamura will join forces with AJ Styles and Sami Zayn to take on Owens, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler.
This promises to erupt in chaos. Owens, Corbin and Ziggler aren't likely to be a cohesive unit. There will be bad blood aplenty here with Zayn and Corbin in a personal feud and Owens being an enemy of just about every man in that match.
To hype Sunday's WWE Championship match, SmackDown will feature a faceoff between Orton and Mahal.
The Maharajah and Orton have been trading verbal blows from afar. On Tuesday, they will share the same ring, fire off their insults at point blank and likely resort to violence. WWE has this final opportunity to create a lasting image that entices fans to watch Orton take on Mahal at Money in the Bank.
