Cardinals WR John Brown Suffers Hamstring Injury
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown is dealing with a hamstring injury.
Per NFL Network's Omar Ruiz, Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians announced Brown "tweaked" his hamstring to explain why the receiver hasn't been seen much on the field during team practice.
Despite playing in 15 games last season, Brown didn't look like himself. The speedy wideout had career-lows in targets (73), receptions (39), receiving yards (517), touchdowns (two) and yards per reception (13.3).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brown's hamstring was part of the reason for his struggles in 2016. He was inactive for a game against the Seattle Seahawks last October after being diagnosed with a sickle-cell trait and later aggravated his hamstring in Week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons.
After being drafted in the third round by the Cardinals in 2014, Brown was a budding star in his first two seasons. The 27-year-old averaged 15 yards per reception and had 12 touchdown catches in 2014-15.
