NBA Finals 2017: Warriors vs. Cavaliers Game 3 Odds, Props and Predictions

Michelle BrutonJun 7, 2017

The Golden State Warriors may lead their NBA Finals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers 2-0 heading into Game 3 Wednesday night, but hang on a second—we've seen this play out before.

After all, the Warriors won the first two games of the same series last year before they infamously...you guessed it...blew a 3-1 lead and lost in the seventh game.

So as we head into the third installment in this rubber match, don't assume that Golden State has it all wrapped up with a bow.

Though the Vegas oddsmakers think the Warriors will ultimately win the Game 3 matchup, the odds are still good that Cleveland will prevent a sweep in this series.

For the Game 3 spread as well as other odds, including props, check out the information below. Then, we'll make a prediction about who will prevail in Game 3.

Warriors vs. Cavaliers Game 3

Date: Wednesday, June 7

Time: 9 p.m. ET

TV: ABC

Live Stream: WatchESPN

Odds: Golden State -3.5 via OddsShark

The first two games of the 2017 NBA Finals have been played at Golden State. Naturally, the Warriors have dominated in those games, defeating the Cavs 113-91 in Game 1 and 132-113 in Game 2.

Golden State has set an NBA record with its perfect 14-0 start in the playoffs after sweeping its series against the Portland Trail Blazers in Round 1, the Utah Jazz in Round 2 and the San Antonio Spurs in Round 3.

And that's not the only record the Warriors have set in their historic postseason.

Golden State also hit an NBA Finals-record 18 three-pointers in its Game 2 win:

However, now the series shifts back to Cleveland, and even though few people at this point are all-in on Cleveland winning the title, the odds suggest that the Cavaliers will at least win one game in the series and prevent another Warriors sweep.

According to OddsShark, the odds of the Cavaliers winning at least one of the first four games in this series are 3-2, if that's a prop bet you want to take on.

However, it might be useful to know that the Warriors are 6-0 on the road in the playoffs so far.

One prop bet for Game 3 includes whether LeBron James will include a double-double. The odds are -350 for yes (a $350 wager would win $100) and +275 for no (a 100 wager would win $275). Another is whether Stephen Curry will do the same (yes +250; no -325).

You can also bet on whether Curry's point total will be over 28.5 (-110) or under (-120).

The Cavaliers may get a boost from home-court advantage and sneak away with this one, but it may be the only game of the series they win.

Prediction: Cavaliers 110, Warriors 108
