Liverpool Transfer News: Conflicting Mohamed Salah Rumours Emerge
Liverpool continue to be linked with AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah, with several conflicting reports emerging on Sunday claiming a deal was either close―or already officially done―or not at all.
As reported by Football Italia, Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia both reported Salah has already agreed to personal terms with the Reds, as he's set to make €4 million (£3.48 million) and bonuses.

The Mirror said Liverpool have agreed to Roma's valuation, and BeIn Sports Arabic's Mohamed Alkawaleny took it one step further, as he said the deal was official.
But, just a few hours later, Football Italia released another report, having done some digging of their own. Per a source close to the player, negotiations are far from complete, and an official announcement is nowhere near imminent.
Yahoo Sport's Dharma Bhagalia didn't let the second report get him down:
There have been heaps of rumours regarding the Reds and the former Chelsea man over the last few days, and at this point, there appears to be too much smoke for there not to be any fire.
Roma need to make a sale to comply with UEFA's financial fair play regulations, and per Football Italia, they have to do so before the end of the month.
Salah has been excellent for Roma since his move to the Italian capital―initially on loan before a permanent move last summer―and should relish the opportunity to prove he can hold his own in the Premier League.
He impressed in short bursts during his stint with Chelsea but didn't get many opportunities at Stamford Bridge. BBC's John Bennett would love to see him return to England:
The 24-year-old has tremendous athletic tools, and his speed drives the way he plays. He has added efficiency during his time in Serie A, evidenced by his incredible 15 goals and 11 assists in domestic competition this season.
Here's a look at some of his finest moments of the past campaign:
The Egypt international can play on either wing or through the center, but he's at his best on the right, where he can cut inside and unleash his devastating left foot.
Salah and Sadio Mane could form an exceptional duo, with plenty of pace and scoring ability to back a central striker. For a reported fee of roughly £35 million, the Reds could bag themselves an excellent, experienced player with tons of upside still to come.
