Junior Seau's Nephew Ian Signs with Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills announced the signing of defensive end Ian Seau, who is the nephew of late NFL linebacker Junior Seau, on Monday.
Ian Seau, 24, signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2016 before being cut last September. He did not play for another NFL team the remainder of the season.
A three-year contributor at the University of Nevada, Seau finished his collegiate career with 106 tackles and 18 sacks. He recorded a career-high 10 sacks during his senior season.

Bills assistant defensive line coach Bill Teerlinck coached Seau at Nevada. Defensive line coach Mike Waufle was on the coaching staff with the Rams last season during Seau's preseason stint with the team.
Junior Seau, a 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame selection, died in 2012 after shooting himself in the chest. It was later determined that Seau suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain condition caused by repetitive blows to the head.
He played 20 NFL seasons, earning 12 Pro Bowl berths.
