Kellen Moore, Cowboys Agree on Contract to Serve as Backup to Dak Prescott
The Dallas Cowboys are bringing back quarterback Kellen Moore in 2017 after agreeing to a deal with the five-year veteran.
The Cowboys officially announced Moore's re-signing, though terms of the deal were not disclosed. He joins their stable of quarterbacks that also includes Dak Prescott and Tony Romo. Todd Archer of ESPN reported the contract is worth $775,000 but is worth $615,000 against the salary cap.
Moore suffered a season-ending broken ankle last August during a practice when a teammate rolled up the back of his leg.
