Yasiel Puig's Home Reportedly Burglarized in LA, $500k in Jewelry Stolen
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has had more than $500,000 in jewelry stolen from his L.A. residence while he's in Arizona for spring training.
TMZ Sports reported three "high-end" Rolex watches were among the items stolen. It's noted the MLB player had a relative staying at the home while he's away, but the person was not there at the time of the incident.
Puig joins the likes of five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher and singer Alanis Morissette in having a Los Angeles house robbed so far this year, according to TMZ Sports. No arrests have been made in connection to the high-profile heists.

Fisher had all five of his championship rings taken during the robbery at his home, which resulted in more than $300,000 of lost jewelry, per TMZ Sports.
It's unknown whether there is a link in the rash of celebrity houses being burglarized in L.A.
News of the situation at Puig's residence comes two days after he hit his first home run of the spring in a 7-3 victory Sunday over the Seattle Mariners.
In all, the 26-year-old Cuba native is hitting .286 with one homer and two doubles through five appearances so far in spring training.
Puig, who Spotrac notes is set to make $8.2 million in salary and bonuses this season, is looking to bounce back after a lackluster 2016 campaign that included a trip to the minor leagues.
