San Diego Rainstorm Floods Petco Park
As the San Diego Padres prepare for the upcoming MLB season during spring training in Arizona, their stadium flooded due to a rainstorm.
There's no trace of a baseball field in the above photo of Petco Park, which transformed into a duck pond when San Diego received heavy rain Monday.
According to Fox 5 San Diego, Padres spokeswoman Shana Wilson said there was no grass on the field because of a Monster Jam event. Yet as shown by Petco Park's official Twitter account, the grounds crew was beginning the sodding process before Mother Nature interfered:

At least this occurred during spring training rather than the middle of a Padres homestand. San Diego isn't accustomed to many rain delays, let alone massive flooding.
