Chelsea Transfer News: Romelu Lukaku to Sign Everton Contract, Says Mino Raiola
Romelu Lukaku will sign a new contract with Everton, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.
He was asked by TalkSport's Jim White if the Belgian would put pen to paper on a new contract at Goodison Park and replied affirmatively, simply saying "yes."
White further questioned if the new deal at Everton was complete, to which Raiola responded:

"99.99999999! We are signing a longer contract, so that is for sure the intention [to stay].
In football, contracts are not there to be going until the end sometimes, but there is always two parties in the deal.
If everybody thinks it is better to move on, then that will be done at that moment. But for this moment, he is signing a contract with Everton.
"
Per TalkSport's Alex Varney, Bayern Munich, Juventus and former club Chelsea have all been linked with the 23-year-old and are "reported to be monitoring his situation."
Lukaku has enjoyed an excellent campaign and racked up 17 Premier League goals in 25 appearances for the Toffees.
Bleacher Report UK's Matt Jones responded positively to Raiola's comments:
The striker is perhaps Everton's most important asset, having netted 79 goals in 154 outings for the club since arriving in 2013.
The Premier League hailed Lukaku's contributions in that time, with 60 of his Everton strikes coming in the competition:
Lukaku started life in England at Chelsea but made just 15 appearances for the Blues before being loaned out to West Bromwich Albion and Everton.
Antonio Conte's side already have Diego Costa occupying their only centre-forward slot at Stamford Bridge, and he's been in similar form to the Belgium international with 16 goals to his name this year.
However, the Italian appears not to have much faith in back-up Michy Batshuayi, despite signing him for £33 million in the summer—he has played a total of just 93 minutes in the league.
With league-leading Chelsea almost certainly back in the UEFA Champions League next season, it will be important for Conte to be able to rotate his side, though it's doubtful either Lukaku or Costa would accept being a second-choice forward.
If the Blues do bid for him, they'll need to be prepared to shell out a fortune for his services—even more so if he's signed a new deal with Everton.
