Tyrod Taylor Reportedly Medically Cleared Following Groin Surgery
Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has reportedly been medically cleared after undergoing groin surgery in January.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news on Wednesday.
Taylor's recovery is key since he has a $27.5 million bonus due on March 11, which would have kicked in automatically had he not been cleared by that date, per ESPN.com's Mike Rodak.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Since spending four years as a backup with the Baltimore Ravens, Taylor has started 29 games for the Bills over the past two seasons, posting a record of 15-14.
He was named to his first career Pro Bowl following the 2015 campaign with 3,035 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, six interceptions, 568 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Taylor's passing numbers dropped a bit in 2016 despite playing one extra game to the tune of 3,023 yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions, but he picked up the pace with his legs, as he racked up 580 yards and six scores.
The 27-year-old veteran was benched for Buffalo's final game of the 2016 season in what then-interim head coach Anthony Lynn called a "business decision," per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN.com).
Sitting Taylor helped preserve his health and kept the option open for Buffalo to release him prior to the $27.5 million being due.
Schefter reported on Jan. 6 that the Bills were planning to move on from Taylor.
Buffalo has since hired a new coaching staff, though, and there is a link between Taylor and offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, as he was Taylor's quarterbacks coach with the Ravens in 2014.
Former Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott is the Bills' new head coach, and he was noncommittal when asked about Taylor's future with the team following his hiring, according to Nick Veronica of the Buffalo News.
