4-Star WR Prospect Brennan Eagles Commits to Texas over OU, Clemson and More
Wide receiver Brennan Eagles, one of the most dynamic playmakers in the 2018 recruiting class, will be playing college football for the Texas Longhorns.
Eagles announced his commitment Monday:

Playing at Alief Taylor High School in Houston, Eagles is a 4-star prospect ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver from the state of Texas, No. 4 wide receiver in the country and No. 14 player overall, per Scout.com.
Eagles has an imposing physique that will put fear into a lot of opposing cornerbacks at the college level. He's listed at 6'3 ½" and 214 pounds already, so there's no reason to think he won't be an immediate contributor as a redshirt freshman.
In his first full recruiting cycle as Texas head coach, Tom Herman proves himself to be a valuable addition to the program.
Herman never had a canvas this big to play with during his stint at Houston, yet it never inhibited him as the Cougars won a combined 22 games in 2015 and 2016. The Longhorns have a tremendous national following, a limitless supply of resources and a tradition many want to be part of.
Eagles, who is from Texas, certainly has some understanding of what it means to be a big star at the University of Texas. He brings all the necessary ingredients to become just that for the Longhorns right away.
If Herman's past success is any indication, it won't take long before Texas is back challenging Oklahoma, TCU and Oklahoma State for Big 12 supremacy.
