Dashon Goldson to Falcons: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction
The Atlanta Falcons bolstered their safety depth Tuesday by bringing veteran Dashon Goldson back into the fold.
The team announced the signing after previously releasing him in October.
Following his release from the Washington Redskins during the offseason, Goldson was signed by the Falcons, but he appeared in just four games before he was cut loose.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen are entrenched as Atlanta's starters at safety, the team needed another option at the position Tuesday. Kemal Ishmael was placed on injured reserve, and Robenson Therezie has been nursing an ankle injury, per ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure.
The 32-year-old Goldson is a two-time Pro Bowler and a former first-team All-Pro selection dating back to his six-year stint with the San Francisco 49ers.
Goldson signed a big free-agent deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to the 2013 season, but he was released after two disappointing years.
The former fourth-round pick out of Washington caught on with the Redskins in 2015, and he started 15 games for the NFC East champions, registering 108 tackles and one interception.
While Goldson's play has declined since his time with the Niners, he has 16 career interceptions to his credit, and he has played in two NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl.
With Atlanta in line to make the playoffs and potentially contend for a Super Bowl berth in its own right, Goldson's veteran presence could come in handy down the stretch.
