Favors Works Out Before Nuggets Game

Jazz Need Favors to Provide Centerpiece in Frontcourt Rotation
Favors has appeared in 11 games this season and is averaging 10.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and one block per game behind 46.9 percent shooting from the field. While the sample size is small, Favors' numbers are not up to his normal standards. His points-per-game mark would be his lowest in four seasons if it held up, and his rebounds and blocks would be his lowest since the 2011-12 campaign.
What's more, his field-goal percentage would be the lowest of his career.
Fortunately for the Jazz, they have a few pieces to shoulder more of the load in the frontcourt while Favors is out with his injury.
Trey Lyles was the No. 12 overall pick in the 2015 draft. He has a high ceiling and will likely continue to develop even more with additional playing time.
Elsewhere, Boris Diaw is a veteran with championship experience, and Rudy Gobert is a defensive anchor who averaged 11 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per night last season.
The Jazz will miss Favors' presence while he is out, but they have enough options to remain in the early postseason picture without him.
