WWE SmackDown: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for Nov. 22
The stars of WWE SmackDown will have to lick their wounds and move on to the new fights that await them.
The roster fell short in the brand warfare that encompassed Sunday's Survivor Series pay-per-view, losing two out of three elimination matches against Team Raw. Kalisto also failed to dethroned Raw's Brian Kendrick.
But there's little time to mope. The build to the TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV on Dec. 4 has to start right away.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Tuesday's SmackDown is set to feature a chance for one team to close in on the gold. The tag team division will collide to decide the No. 1 contender to Heath Slater and Rhyno's championships.
And with Raw no longer in their target sights, SmackDown's warriors will look to take on rivals old and new. Kalisto and Nikki Bella both have reason to be hungry for revenge when SmackDown invades Ottawa, Ontario.
Backstage news, the show's preview on WWE.com and storyline analysis offers a look at SmackDown before it airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.
News, Potential Spoilers
SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon may still be feeling the aftereffects of his Survivor Series match.
He took a midair spear from Roman Reigns on Sunday's PPV that left him hurt. Dave Meltzer reported for Figure Four Online,"the Shane McMahon injury was very much real."

PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson added: "While sources declined to comment on what the injury is, they would concede that McMahon was indeed hurt and was treated backstage. We were told that he was in a lot of pain leaving the arena last night."
McMahon doesn't wrestle regularly anyway, but don't count on him doing anything physical on Tuesday's show.
SmackDown may soon be getting Eva Marie back in the fold. Marie, who has been away shooting movies, teased a return to the blue brand on Twitter:
The women's division has a number of stories going already, but it could use some added depth.
SmackDown Streaks
American Alpha is picking up steam again.
When Chad Gable and Jason Jordan arrived from NXT in July, they started red-hot with victory after victory. It looks now as if WWE is boosting the duo once more.
Per CageMatch.net, American Alpha won its last two SmackDown bouts. And before falling to Team Raw at Survivor Series, Gable and Jordan had rattled off five wins in a row overall.
A title opportunity is likely on its way before long.
Jack Swagger isn't enjoying that kind of spotlight. After moving from Raw to SmackDown, the former world champ hasn't consistently been around.
As seen on CageMatch.net, he hasn't wrestled on SmackDown since Oct. 18. That marks three straight episodes that he's missed.
Swagger is poised to fade into the background. But it's not like Raw was treating him any better.
Survivor Series Fallout
Six teams will compete against each other for the right to be called No. 1 contender.
American Alpha, The Hype Bros, Breezango, The Usos, The Ascension and The Vaudevillains will all battle in a Tag Team Turmoil. The winner will get a future crack at Slater and Rhyno for the tag titles.
The Usos have some momentum on their side after lasting longer than any SmackDown duo in Survivor Series' 10-on-10 bout.
Although American Alpha winning would result in a babyface-against-babyface matchup, WWE should consider going that direction. Gable and Jordan have been a fun act thus far, and they would offer Slater and Rhyno a fresh opponent.
Kalisto's own championship opportunity went down in flames thanks to Baron Corbin. The King of Flight had cruiserweight champ Kendrick reeling at Sunday's PPV when Corbin ambushed him.
Corbin made two enemies that night. SmackDown general manager Daniel Bryan promised to punish him for costing the brand a chance at nabbing the cruiserweight title. And of course, Kalisto was seething after the bout.
Bella will be plenty angry on Tuesday night, too.
She was supposed to captain SmackDown's female Survivor Series team, but a backstage attack left her unable to compete. Natalya took her place.
The mystery of who bashed Bella promises to be investigated on SmackDown. Was it Bella's rival, Carmella? Was it Natalya, who went from coach to participant thanks to the assault?
Either answer makes sense storylinewise. WWE must follow up on this, though. It's an easy way to either escalate the Carmella-Bella rivalry or slide Natalya into the spotlight.
Tuesday's SmackDown should offer an ample share of center stage for The Wyatt Family.
Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton led Team SmackDown to its only elimination match victory at Survivor Series. They emerged from the night's best match on top after taking out Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
The SmackDown preview on WWE.com asked what effect that would have moving forward: "Could their win give The New Wyatt Family a stronger foothold on Tuesday nights?"
That kind of talk is welcome. With its newest predator aboard, this faction has major potential. WWE has stumbled with presenting Wyatt's crew in the past.
Tuesday night may mark a turning point for the dark stable.
