Latest on Clady's Status

The Jets announced they put Clady on the injured reserve list Wednesday. The team did not reveal a timetable for his return.
According to Darin Gantt of Pro Football Talk, Clady suffered the injury during Week 3's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he played the following five games before sitting out for Week 9's matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
New York head coach Todd Bowles told the media that the 30-year-old was "basically playing out there with one arm," per the team's official Twitter account.
Clady spent the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Denver Broncos, playing in all 16 games during six of those years. But in 2013, he missed 14 games because of a foot injury before missing the entire 2015 season with a torn ACL.
He joined the Jets prior to the 2016 season as a replacement for the retired D'Brickashaw Ferguson, who missed just one snap during his 10-year career with the Jets, according to Hank Kurz Jr. of the Associated Press.
Ben Ijalana, who appeared in just seven games from 2011 to 2015, will likely replace Clady at left tackle. Ijalana has played in all nine games this season, starting six of them.
However, this could be the last time Jets fans see Clady in green. According to Spotrac, he has a $7.5 million option with a cap hit of $10.5 million in 2017, which could be too high of a price tag for a player coming off three major injuries.
