
Turkish Airlines Open 2016: Final Leaderboard Scores, Prize-Money Payouts
Thorbjorn Olesen won the 2016 Turkish Airlines Open at the Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort in Antalya, Turkey on Sunday. The Danish player is now due the top prize from a tournament that pays out a total purse worth $30.5 million, according to its official site.
Olesen ended two under par for the day after shooting a final round of 69, and managed to see off a spirited challenge from David Horsey and Li Haotong, both of whom finished six under.

Olesen came through with some clutch shots when he had to on the back nine to build a lead no other player could reel in. This birdie on the par-five 12 helped him pull away at the top, per the European Tour:
However, only managing par at the 13th, meant Olesen needed another birdie. He gave himself an ideal start on the par-three 14:
The inevitable birdie continued Olesen's magnificent form on par-three holes at this tournament:
Olesen needed to keep producing similar magic because of the pressure applied by Horsey. The Englishman got his round off to a great start by claiming five birdies over the front nine.
Horsey kept his momentum going by matching Olesen's birdie at the 12th, before sinking another birdie, this one on the 15th. He managed to close the gap, but Olesen still led by three with as many holes left to play.
Both players slipped to bogeys on the 16th, so Olesen still kept his lead. He sunk this par at the 17th to put himself on the brink of the title:
Olesen duly wrapped things up after Horsey and Haotong could only manage pars at the 18th. Then it was the Dane's turn to sink another par putt to seal the win.
