Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The crowd in attendance gave the former world champion a warm welcome, chanting his name and "this is awesome" before he even had a chance to speak.
The overwhelming support brought a few tears to the tough guy's eyes, but he put on his best mean face and accepted Lesnar's challenge for a fight.
The two powerhouses will likely meet at Survivor Series, but WWE has yet to make any official announcement regarding a date for the big showdown.
Lesnar and Goldberg's bout at WrestleMania 20 was met with criticism, and considering the latter has been away from the ring for a long time, it's hard to imagine they would be able to match the intensity of their last performance.
Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan Reveal Gender of Their Baby
Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella have been busy lately. On top of all the promotion they have to do for Total Bellas and Bryan's job as general manager of SmackDown, Brie is preparing to give birth to a child.
According to WWE.com, the couple will be having a girl. The mother-to-be had the following to say about the happy news:
"When I found out it was a girl, I actually got really emotional. I have such an amazing relationship with my mom and I think, wow, I'm going to have that with my daughter. Also, as a woman, I now have my own blood to follow my legacy. It's such a special feeling—my mini me!
"
Bryan has been vocal about his desire to return to the ring, but changing diapers and midnight feedings will give him a whole new set of challenges to conquer.
WWE Developmental Talent Arrested and Suspended

In a bit of unfortunate news, a WWE developmental talent has been charged with assault and battery, kidnapping, witness intimidation, destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime
According to Peter Francis of the Eagle Tribune, Terrance Jean-Jacques was arraigned Wednesday after allegedly hitting his pregnant girlfriend, Jillian Gilman.
Jean-Jaques has never appeared on WWE television before, but he was a decorated amateur wrestler at the University of Iowa and Rhode Island College.
According to Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net, WWE issued the following statement about the situation: "We have zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."
WWE Recruits More Talents for Performance Center
The WWE Performance Center is constantly gaining new recruits from around the world, and this week saw the addition of three new names to the list.
According to Marc Middleton of WrestlingInc.com, Tommy End, Big Damo and "Crazy" Mary Dobson have signed on to begin training with the rest of the recruits in Orlando, Florida.
Of the three names, WWE fans will be most familiar with Dobson. The hardcore wrestler faced Alexa Bliss in a losing effort on the March 23 episode of NXT.
Dobson's gimmick would make her a perfect fit for NXT stable Insanity, but if WWE is looking to cast Sister Abigail to finally join The Wyatt Family, she could be a great option.
Frenchy Martin Dies
According to WWE.com, The wrestling world lost another member of its family on Friday, when Jean Gagne, better known to WWE fans as Frenchy Martin, died.
Martin was mostly known as Dino Bravo's manager during his time with WWE, but he also wrestled in several different promotions.
"Toast to Frenchy Martin. Thanks for all the war stories at the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. You made attending events like that more fun #RIP
— Arda Ocal (@ArdaOcalTV) October 22, 2016"
In addition to holding singles gold in Stampede Wrestling and a few NWA territories, Martin was a successful tag team competitor, winning the World Wrestling Council tag titles with Mr. Fuji and Rick Martel, among others.
Martin's most notable appearance in WWE was during WrestleMania IV, managing Bravo against Don Muraco in the first round of the WWE Championship tournament held at the pay-per-view.
The Rock Developing Wrestling Comedy Pilot
The Rock seems to be one of the busiest people on the planet, but he somehow keeps finding time to add new projects to his calendar.
Following his first foray into the television world with Ballers, Rocky's Seven Bucks Productions is developing a new comedy alongside Will Ferrell's Gary Sanchez Productions at Fox.
According to Elizabeth Wagmeister of Variety, the show will be a comedy centered around the relationship between a wrestler and a former sitcom writer who finds himself working for a wrestling promotion.
Considering The Rock's relationship with WWE and its CEO, Vince McMahon, it wouldn't be surprising a few familiar faces showed up in supporting roles.
It's still early in the production phase, so there is no news about who will be starring in the two lead roles. Hollywood has plenty of actors who look the part, so there shouldn't be any trouble finding a suitable performer.
Let the fantasy casting begin. Who should be cast in the role of the wrestler?
