Jackson Comments on Pryor's Playing Status
Thursday, Oct. 20
"I like guys to practice a little bit before they play," Browns head coach Hue Jackson said Wednesday, per Zac Jackson of Pro Football Talk. "I just do. It is just one of my policies. They need to do something before we get ready to play, but we will give them every opportunity to get out there."
Pryor Comments on Injury

"It happened in the third quarter, and then it got worse in the fourth," he told Cabot. "Someone pushed me when I was going to block for Duke [Johnson]. I got pushed out of bounds and I was trying to catch myself and then someone hit me. So that's when it grabbed like that. But it's football."
Pryor does believe he'll be ready to play, however, and said that he and the training staff are just being "precautious."
"I feel good," he said. "I believe we have a great training staff, so I'm putting all my faith in them and God obviously. He'll get me up and ready to go."
Pryor Blossoming into Devastating Playmaker
Pryor, 27, is having a fantastic season after transitioning from quarterback to wide receiver. He's caught 33 passes for 413 yards and three touchdowns and has become one of the focal points of a struggling Browns offense.
That has been crucial, as Josh Gordon remains indefinitely suspended, rookie Corey Coleman's adjustment to the NFL has been slowed by injury and the Browns have undergone a quarterback carousel—even Pryor has taken snaps at the position—due to injuries.
Pryor will be difficult to replace if he is forced to the sidelines this season, but Cleveland will lean on tight end Gary Barnidge and running back Duke Johnson even more heavily in the passing game, while Andrew Hawkins and Ricardo Louis would be the top options at wide receiver.
