Manchester City Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Sergio Aguero and Isco
Manchester City could face a fight to keep hold of star striker Sergio Aguero next summer following reports big-spending Inter Milan are ready to recruit the Argentinian. Meanwhile, the father of Real Madrid midfielder Isco has ruled out a January move for his son.
According to Spanish newspaper AS (h/t the Sun's Sam Morgan), Aguero is on a shortlist of world-beaters being lined up by Inter next summer, with Barcelona's Luis Suarez and Real Madrid's James Rodriguez also mentioned.

The Nerazzurri were recently taken over by Chinese investment firm Suning Holdings Group, and they're ready to court City's talismanic forward in an effort to return the Italian outfit to its former glory.
Aguero recently picked up a knock on international duty and was benched for City's 1-1 draw at home to Everton on Saturday, but James Robson of the Manchester Evening News questioned if there was more to the matter:
Whether Aguero remains as valuable to new City manager Pep Guardiola as he has been to previous bosses is up for debate, but fans at the Etihad Stadium will undoubtedly wish to hang on to their South American superstar.
Match of the Day highlighted just what an impact the 28-year-old has had on their fortunes since arriving from Atletico Madrid five years ago, not to mention his influence in the Premier League title-winning seasons of 2011 and 2014:
Inter's new owners have money to challenge for some of Europe's finest players, but City are hardly desperate for funding themselves, meaning the Italians may struggle to land this particular target.
Elsewhere, Paco Alcarcon, the father of Real Madrid playmaker Isco, has dismissed any chance of his son leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in the January transfer window following rumours of a winter departure from Madrid.
Speaking to Italian outlet Calciometro (h/t FourFourTwo) this week, the Real misfit's father said: "We've opted to keep a low profile with the press and I can assure you that we are not going to consider any offer before next summer."
Spanish outlet Diario Madridista (h/t the Sun's Gary Stonehouse) previously reported City's interest in the player, although Yahoo's Andrew Gaffney reported the player wishes to remain with his current employers:
Even if City were to wait until next summer to make their move on Isco, it's difficult to see where the Spaniard would fit with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito already at the club.
The comments from Isco's father also mean this season now plays an even greater significance in his son's future, meaning a make-or-break eight months lie ahead if he's to carve out a future at Real Madrid.
