Real Madrid Transfer News: Isco's Father Speaks Amid Exit Talk, Latest Rumours
Paco Alarcon has said his son, Real Madrid star Isco, will not be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in January.
He told Calciomercato (h/t AS): "We have decided to maintain a low profile with the press. But I can assure you that we will not be considering any offer until next summer."
Isco has started just one match in La Liga this season and is reportedly attracting interest from Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Spaniard himself said as much, telling La Cope (h/t AS): "I don't like the idea of switching clubs in winter."
Isco's contract runs out at the end of next season, but according to Cope (h/t La Liga writer Andrew Gaffney) Los Blancos aren't set to meet his request for a new and improved deal:
The 24-year-old is a fine player and would contest a starting berth at almost any other club in Europe, but he's struggled to standout in recent months at Madrid as he competes with a number of stars for playing time.
He's an excellent dribbler, but his tendency to keep the ball when a better option would be to pass hasn't helped either, per ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan:
If he's not able to establish himself by the end of the season, it would not be a surprise if Real elected to part with him before his contract expired.
He'll undoubtedly have plenty of options to choose from if he does leave—Real would likely receive a significant fee for him.
Meanwhile, according to El Larguero (h/t AS), one player who is set to receive a new deal is Pepe, who has reportedly "agreed a new one-year deal" with the club.

The 33-year-old's current deal expires next summer and so "would have been free to negotiate with other teams as of January."
Despite his age, the Portuguese defender has enjoyed some excellent form this year and is a useful asset, as his presence allows manager Zinedine Zidane to rest and rotate Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.
AS reported the contract, which will be signed in the near future, will most likely be his last at the club as he will be 35 by its conclusion.
