Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Felipe Anderson Talk, Fresh Rumours
Former Manchester United target Felipe Anderson is reportedly now being lined up for a move from current club Lazio to Chelsea having switched agents earlier this year.
The 23-year-old winger was heavily linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford, but a move never materialised and he remained in Serie A, per James Dixon in the Manchester Evening News.
According to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via Tom Coast of Sport Witness), Chelsea have now become the new front-runners to sign Brazilian Anderson after he changed his agent from his sister to Giuliano Bertolucci, an associate of Kia Joorabchian.

Bertolucci is reportedly working on the deal to move Anderson from Rome to London, having brokered the transfers of Ramires, Alexandre Pato, David Luiz and Oscar to Stamford Bridge in the past.
Per Coast, it is far from a done deal, while United may still retain interest in the player, having previously wanted him to add "pace going forward" under former manager Louis van Gaal.
Playing on the right flank, Anderson has had an effective start to the new Serie A season with Lazio, providing two assists in six appearances, per WhoScored.com.
He can be a menace to opposition defenders while running with the ball and could likely link up well with Antonio Valencia on United's right side:
United summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan can play on the right flank but is most effective as a No. 10, although he is currently injured.
The Red Devils' other options to play ahead of Valencia are Anthony Martial—although he prefers the left—and inconsistent duo Jesse Lingard and Memphis Depay.

Dutchman Depay recently revealed he could depart the Old Trafford club if he continues to play a bit-part role under manager Jose Mourinho, per Dutch newspaper Metro Nieuws (via The Independent's Jack de Menezes).
He has rarely proved in over a season at Old Trafford that he is worthy of a first-team place, so he may end up moving on from United in January, in which case there would be a spot open for Anderson to come in and compete for the right-flank role.
However, it seems signing him could be more of a challenge than it once was if a move for Anderson to Chelsea is in the works.
