Ayesha Curry Says She Regrets the Rigged Tweet, Was Just a 'Fan in That Moment'

Ayesha Curry's tweet about the NBA being rigged was the shot heard around the league at the end of the Golden State Warriors' Game 6 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals.

On Wednesday, however, People published an exclusive interview with Ayesha, Stephen Curry's wife, in which she expressed remorse for her tweet.

"I was just a fan in that moment so I didn't think about the ramifications," she said, per Shay Spence. "I regret the way that I voiced how hurt I was. I felt hurt for [Steph], and I didn't mean to offend anybody. Obviously, what I wrote is not what I think about what he does for a living."
