Nelson Looking to Pick Up Where He Left Off After Lost Season
Nelson missed the entire 2015 season after tearing his ACL in preseason action against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his absence hindered Green Bay's passing game.
Although Aaron Rodgers was superb, recording 31 touchdowns for only eight interceptions, he finished just 17th among all NFL passers, with 3,821 yards, while working primarily with the then-31-year-old James Jones, Davante Adams and a banged-up Randall Cobb.
If Nelson is forced to watch game action from the sidelines once again this year, Adams, Cobb, Jeff Janis and Jared Abbrederis should all see their roles expand.
