Warriors Lose Back-to-Back Games for 1st Time in 2015-16

Bleacher Report MilestonesMay 25, 2016

The Golden State Warriors have lost back-to-back games for the first time all season following Tuesday's 118-94 defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Though Warriors guard Klay Thompson had himself a night (26 points, five rebounds, one assist, three steals and a block), backcourt mate Stephen Curry made just six of his 20 field-goal attempts en route to 19 points while also sporting a disappointing plus/minus of minus-19.

However, forward Draymond Green was Golden State's biggest disappointment, putting up just six points with a plus/minus of minus-30.

On the other hand, the Thunder stars fared much better in nearly every way.

Russell Westbrook corralled yet another triple-double to the tune of 36 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to go along with a quartet of steals. He also notably made four of his eight three-point attempts.

Kevin Durant came through for a double-double of 26 points and 11 boards while also tallying four assists, four steals and three blocks.

A pair of shooting guards for the Thunder also made a difference.

Andre Roberson started and, while not known for his scoring touch, splashed 17 points and swiped a game-high five steals.

Dion Waiters, who gets most of the minutes at the 2, came off the bench to sink 10 points of his own.

Ultimately, the Thunder lived off a plethora of extra possessions due to their accumulation of steals (16), as they took advantage of some sloppy play from the fast-paced Warriors.
