Zinedine Zidane Talks Real Madrid's La Liga Title Chances Before Deportivo Match
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane believes his side will have to play the "game of [their] lives" against Deportivo La Coruna in order to beat Barcelona to the Spanish league title on Saturday.
Los Blancos enter the final matchday trailing their rivals by one point, with Barcelona visiting Granada. As reported by ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan, Zidane and his troops fully believe in their chances:
"We do still have faith. Why not? We have won 11 straight games and we are just one point behind. We will believe in our chances until the final second. This is the game of our lives tomorrow, as we are playing for something very important. Then after this game we will have another to prepare for and win.

Barcelona appeared to be running away with the title for the bulk of the season, but last year's champions suffered a dreadful run of form following a 2-1 defeat in the Clasico at Camp Nou in April.
Both Real and Atletico closed the distance at the top of the standings in a hurry, and both were alive in the title race until the latter's shock loss against Levante in Week 37 of the 2015-16 La Liga season.

The Blaugrana are still expected to win the title, having won four in a row and playing a Granada squad that avoided relegation with a 4-1 win over Sevilla last week.
As shared by ESPN FC's Michael Caley, Barcelona's top stars have stepped up when needed the most:
"In Barcelona's last four matches, with the season on the line, Messi, Neymar and Suarez have combined for 17 goals and 11 assists.

Wow.
But Granada have looked in excellent form of late, winning their last two, and an upset isn't out of the question.
Real also can't look past Deportivo, per Zidane, and any thoughts of what is happening in Granada have to be banished: "We must start the game strongly. It will be difficult as it is away from home. Depor are a good team, they know how to play football and their fans will want to end the season the best way possible. We must focus on what we have to do ourselves, from the first minute."
The Frenchman was also asked about his future as Real manager, a position he took after Rafa Benitez was sacked. Zidane united the dressing room, and under his guidance, the squad's performances and results have greatly improved, but he's not sure whether that's enough to guarantee he keeps his job:
"I don't know if I have earned that. The important thing is the work we have done, above all the players. There were many doubts, but I don't think now that I will certainly continue -- I just do my work very day as I was asked to do. I don't know how this will end up, but I do know we will give everything. I have learned a lot in these five months, because this is not the same as coaching Castilla. But I like it a lot.
"
After going trophyless last season, one has to assume Zidane would be given more time if he wins this year's UEFA Champions league or steals the Spanish title on the final matchday. Los Blancos' comeback in the domestic league has been nothing short of spectacular, and even if Barcelona do win Saturday's match, Los Blancos will have nothing to be ashamed of.
