"I’m sure there are top clubs looking at him and they’d be prepared to break the bank just because of the way he plays and the way he wants to score goals every time he gets the ball.
Should he move right now? I don’t know. Timing’s a funny thing in football because you have to take the opportunity when it arises. If you don’t, another striker might go to United or Real Madrid or whoever we’re talking about and you won’t get the chance again for another four or five years.

Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Martin Odegaard and Harry Kane
Tom SunderlandApr 10, 2016
It's been revealed Bayern Munich "are in contact" with Real Madrid in their hunt to sign Martin Odegaard, and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been advised to consider joining Los Merengues this summer.
Speaking to German broadcaster Sky Sport Deutschland, Der FCB's sporting director, Matthias Sammer, confirmed Odegaard is on the club's radar (h/t Football Espana): "Of course we’re in contact, but that’s not up for debate. His decision to sign for Madrid must be respected. He’s a great player, but we haven’t made any attempt to sign him."

Odegaard has struggled to fit in at Real since moving to Madrid, playing largely for the team's Castilla side despite becoming the club's youngest debutant in the final fixture on last season at 16 years and 157 days of age.
There, he came on as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who was the reigning Ballon d'Or winner at the time, but Odegaard's lack of any first-team involvement since then suggests it wasn't quite the "passing of the torch" many might have hoped:
Bayern were reported to be one of the teams linked to Norwegian starlet Odegaard before he moved to the Santiago Bernabeu from Stromsgodset in January 2015.
Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl last month told German newspaper Kicker Odegaard should have moved to the Bundesliga instead of Spain (h/t Goal's Dom Farrell): "Sure, you could say what would Gladbach be able to do against the biggest clubs in Europe?. But I am convinced Odegaard would be a Bundesliga player in Gladbach. He would have played Champions League with us. At Real he has a hard time at the moment."
As tempting an option as Real Madrid may have been, not all the club's managers have held a reputation for promoting the youth consistently, but current chief Zinedine Zidane—a former Castilla coach—is changing that.
Bayern may still offer Norwegian prodigy Odegaard, 17, an appealing option, and it may not be a coincidence that Carlo Ancelotti, the manager who brought him to Real, will take over in Bavaria this summer.

Meanwhile, ex-England forward Teddy Sheringham has told Spurs superstar Kane to consider capitalising upon the interest he's currently getting from the world's elite before it simmers away.
Speaking to the Mail On Sunday, former Tottenham talisman Sheringham touched on the topic of timing and Kane making the most of his playing career (h/t Sam Long of the Evening Standard):
