Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
With Royal Rumble on the horizon, talk is gathering pace about what the card is going to look like at WrestleMania.
That will be dictated by what happens at the Royal Rumble, but LordsofPain.net's Marc Middleton writes that the plan is for Roman Reigns vs. Triple H to be the headline bout.
That probably wouldn't be a problem for most fans as long as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship isn't involved.
Those two guys could carry off a big-time feud without the need for the championship to be involved, and it would mean that the belt could go to another rivalry and elevate that particular feud to another level.
But it remains to be seen whether Reigns vs. Triple H is indeed the headline bout and whether the title is on the line for the victor.
Fastlane to Get a Big Push?
The pay-per-view show in between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania is always one that gets forgotten about, but it seems WWE is intent on changing that.
The Fastlane show generally doesn't have much appeal to it, but per F4WOnline.com (h/t WrestleZone), WWE wants to ramp up the interest in the show.
It's reported that whatever happens at Royal Rumble will set up a major match at Fastlane, which immediately puts the brain to work to decipher what could happen.
Will Brock Lesnar win the Rumble and then fight Roman Reigns in a rematch at Fastlane, for example?
No matter what happens, it seems the company has big plans up its sleeve for a show that sometimes gets cast to the side of people's minds.
News on Tyler Breeze's Push
It's been a tough time for Tyler Breeze lately, as his push to the main roster appears to have seriously stalled.
However, news from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t LordsofPain.net) about Breeze's initial push discusses how there was a conflict of interest.
It's reported that Breeze was initially high on the agenda of Triple H, who wanted to protect Breeze and saw him on the level of Dolph Ziggler.
Amazingly, Vince McMahon initially agreed to go along with the push and gave him the boost he seemed set for over a long period of time, but then things changed.
It's reported that McMahon wasn't convinced and changed his mind to cut Breeze's push short. That's why we now see Breeze in limbo with his future plans, and he seems to have disappeared from TV.
