Easley to Be Placed on Injured Reserve
Monday, Dec. 28
Ryan announced that Easley would be heading to injured reserve following his injury, per Chris Brown of the team's website. Ryan also noted that Easley could return next season, though his recovery would take time.
"This is a major, major injury," Ryan added, per Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News.
Easley, 28, is a fantastic special teams player and was filling in as the team's third receiver on Sunday after Robert Woods was placed on injured reserve the week prior. For his career, Easley has accumulated 50 tackles, two forced fumbles, an interception and three receptions for 71 yards and a score.
But he's made his mark on special teams, and the Bills will be hoping he can fully recover from his injury and continue to make a major impact for the team on the kick- and punt-coverage teams.
