Sedin Comments on Return
Tuesday, Dec. 22
"[The injury is] much better and I should be good tonight," Sedin said, per Long. "You never want to test something in a game. I'm going in there feeling 100 percent."
Sedin's Presence Vital to Canucks Offense
Sedin has been a stud for the Canucks in 2015-16 thus far, as he is second to only twin brother Daniel in team scoring with 31 points.
Henrik is a three-time All-Star, and he won both the Hart Memorial Trophy and Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's MVP and leading scorer, respectively, in 2010.
Vancouver has very little in the way of forward depth, as its highest-scoring forward outside of the Sedins is Jannik Hansen with 20 points in 35 games.
The Canucks are off to a tough start this season, as they are ninth in the Western Conference with just 33 points, so Sedin's return is big for a team trying to find itself.
