Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon Headline NHL 27's Player Ratings After Position-by-Position Reveal

Connor McDavid is in a league of his own, at least when it comes to NHL 27's new player ratings.

The Edmonton Oilers star is the only player in the league to earn the coveted 99 overall rating in the latest edition of EA Sports' hockey game. He is followed closely behind by Nathan MacKinnon and Nikita Kucherov

That McDavid is the top-ranked player comes as no surprise.

After all, the generational talent's resume features three Hart Memorial Trophies as the league MVP, five Ted Lindsay Awards as the league's Most Outstanding Player, six Art Ross Trophies as the league's top point scorer and a Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs.

He won that Conn Smythe Trophy during the 2024 playoffs when he led the Oilers to the Stanley Cup Final, although they lost in seven games to the Florida Panthers.

The future Hall of Famer appeared in all 82 games last season and led the league in points (138) and assists (90). He also finished with 48 goals, which was his highest mark since he led the league with 64 during the 2022-23 campaign.

In all, McDavid has led the NHL in points in six of his 11 seasons.

He has dominated the NHL throughout his career, and now gamers can dominate their opponents by controlling him as the only 99 overall player in the latest edition of NHL 27.
