USMNT Watch: Johnson, Brooks Score on Exciting Saturday in Bundesliga
Two of the highest-profile United States men's national team players plying their trade overseas made big impressions on their respective matches in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Fabian Johnson and John Brooks scored for Borussia Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin respectively on the way to three points each on a historic day for the pair.
Elsewhere across the globe, a center-back turned in a solid shift in midfield and a former USMNT boss earned his first win at his new club.

Johnson, Brooks Find the Back of the Net in Germany
Johnson was a part of one of the biggest results in Europe on Saturday as he helped Borussia Monchengladbach hand Bayern Munich their first defeat of the league campaign.
The left winger played a key role in the buildup to the first goal, as his pass from his flank set up a nice exchange between Raffael and Oscar Wendt before Wendt struck the back of the net.
In the 68th minute, Johnson put his name on the scoresheet as he took advantage of space on the right side of the pitch and slotted Gladbach's third past Manuel Neuer. With the strike, Johnson became the fourth American to record a goal against Bayern Munich, per ESPN's Paul Carr:
Brooks went head-to-head with Mexico international Javier Hernandez in Hertha Berlin's home clash with Bayer Leverkusen. After Hernandez leveled the match at one goal apiece, Brooks delivered the game-winner on a header in the 61st minute.
Johnson and Brooks became the third pair of Americans to score in the Bundesliga on the same day. Johnson previously did it alongside Danny Williams and Timmy Chandler, per ESPN's Paul Carr:
Alfredo Morales, Bobby Wood and Andrew Wooten all earned starts for their respective sides in Germany this weekend as well.
Cameron Shines in Stoke City Victory
Geoff Cameron played a vital role in Stoke City's 2-0 win over Manchester City to open up the Premier League weekend on Saturday.
The defender starred in a holding-midfield role for the Potters as he shut down David Silva for the majority of the match. The three points earned by Mark Hughes' side moved them into 10th in the league table.

Brad Guzan and Aston Villa took a positive step in their battle to avoid the drop as they tied Southampton 1-1 at St Mary's. Despite earning a point, the Villans are still buried in 20th place in the table.
DeAndre Yedlin's Sunderland fell into the bottom three on Saturday after the Black Cats dropped a 3-1 result to Arsenal and Bournemouth downed Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. Yedlin played 90 minutes at right-back for Sam Allardyce's side.
Tim Howard will wait until Monday to take the pitch as Everton take on Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.
Down in the Championship, Eric Lichaj, Danny Williams and Jonathan Spector all started and played 90 minutes for Nottingham Forest, Reading and Birmingham City respectively.
Bradley Earns 1st Win with Le Havre
Bob Bradley earned his first victory with Ligue 2 side Le Havre on Tuesday, as they defeated Evian Thonon Gaillard 3-2 at the Stade Oceane.
The win came in Bradley's fourth match in charge since leaving Norwegian side Stabaek at the end of their league campaign in November.

Through 17 matches, Le Havre sit fourth in the French second division. They have a chance to improve their position twice before the winter break. Le Havre visit Nimes on December 11 before they host Auxerre on December 18.
Up in Ligue 1 on Saturday, Alejandro Bedoya picked up his first assist of the season in Nantes' 1-1 draw with Ajaccio. After 17 league contests, Nantes are 11th in the French top flight with 22 points.
Morris Leads Stanford to College Cup
Jordan Morris continued his impressive form in front of goal for the Stanford Cardinal as he scored the opener in the team's 2-1 NCAA Tournament quarterfinal victory over Wake Forest.

Morris, who could be on his way to MLS in the near future, helped Stanford clinch its first College Cup berth since 2002.
Stanford will face Akron, which has produced the likes of Darlington Nagbe and Wil Trapp in recent years, in the semifinal at Sporting Park in Kansas City on Friday.
