Bray Wyatt Must Be Utilized as Babyface to Fully Capitalize on Popularity
Bray Wyatt is a babyface, but he doesn't know it yet. He continues to be enigmatic, he continues to walk in darkness and he remains as evil as any character that's ever appeared on WWE programming, but none of it matters.
Fans know what he is, and they want him to make the turn. He's too popular not to, and it's time WWE capitalized on it.
Wyatt could very well be one of the most intriguing Superstars in WWE history. He's built to be a great antagonist; he's got all the tools to be as dark and demonic as anything fans have ever seen. He's physically capable of wrestling any guy with any style, and his mic work is second to none.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
When The Eater of Worlds cuts a promo, fans can't help but listen.
He should be the most hated and despised villain on the roster right now, but he's not even close. His popularity far outweighs any negative reaction he's ever received, and for a guy that has so much talent with so much promise, Wyatt is being held back.
This is a prime example of what no direction can do for a Superstar.
Despite how bad he's ever been, Wyatt just has not really gone anywhere. Winning matches has done nothing to further his career, and losing matches has done nothing to strengthen his resolve. Though fans may respect him, he's basically on the same level now that he was when The Wyatt Family first debuted on the main roster.
They're still mysterious, they're still creepy and they're still under Bray's control. They continue to go after every target he chooses, and they will likely follow his lead to the bitter end. This is the same faction fans first saw in the beginning.

Braun Strowman is a new member, of course, but other than that, nothing much has changed.
This is probably not what fans expected. Wyatt was supposed to be this generation's Undertaker, a phenomenon of the highest order, but he's stuck in a role that's not benefiting him at all. If the company refuses to give him what he needs to get over as the top heel, then he must make the turn.
The Deadman himself really did not take off in terms of popularity until he turned face himself, and that's what Wyatt needs right now.
WWE has shown no signs of making it work from a heel standpoint, so the turn makes perfect sense. Considering Sheamus is now the WWE world heavyweight champion and is being surrounded by a three-man faction, it could be the timing is just right.
Strowman, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper will likely follow Wyatt wherever he goes, and that path could lead to Sheamus's front door. Imagining Wyatt as a WWE world title contender seems like a stretch considering that he has never really been put in serious contention before, but a face turn could cause him to get very hot very quickly.
The Wyatt Family versus the newly formed League of Nations could be a fun feud and would showcase Bray as the star that he is. If he were to lose his followers along the way, Wyatt could actually find himself stronger in the long run.
Even if that feud was not possible, for whatever reason, Wyatt could still have major options ahead of him.
One interruption, one single promo, cut against Triple H, would make Wyatt a face instantaneously. Fans would tune into Raw just to watch Bray play his mind games against The Authority, and he could perhaps become one of their biggest rivals of all time.
The move would set Wyatt up as the newest red-hot babyface and could even lead him to a WrestleMania showdown against The Game himself. The possibilities are there for something special to happen, and Bray can do his part to make it work.
But if WWE really wants to make Bray's career excel, then the face turn must become reality. Wyatt is capable of great things, but he must have a solid foundation in order to make it happen. The wins must come, of course, and if not, then no fan could possibly take him seriously to begin with.
Those wins should not come against babyfaces, though, because The Eater of Worlds is one himself. WWE just needs to make it official.
