Swansea City vs. Arsenal: Key Takeaways from Arsene Wenger's Pre-Match Presser
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has indicated that Joel Campbell will have a big part to play in his injury-hit side in the coming months and could start in the Gunners' Premier League clash at Swansea City on Saturday.
Wenger saw Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott both pick up injuries midweek in the Capital One Cup, with the duo set to be out of action until after the November international break, per BBC Sport.
With Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Mikel Arteta also absent through injury Wenger is very short on midfielders, and he admitted that he has not yet decided how he will set out his team for Saturday's game, per Arsenal:

However, the Frenchman did heap praise on Costa Rican Campbell—who has yet to play in a Premier League game this season—and said that he would be an important player in the coming weeks, per Joe Mewis in the Mirror: "I have been very impressed with him. His desire to improve has been fantastic. He can play centre-forward as well. I think he can be a big help in the next two or three months."

Wenger will be looking for a good response from his players at the Liberty Stadium after they were dumped out of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday by Sheffield Wednesday in a 3-0 loss.
The defeat at Hillsborough followed an excellent spell of form from the Gunners that saw them win four matches in a row, including victories over Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal need to refind that form in south Wales if they are to pick up three points and keep the pressure up on current league-leaders Manchester City.
Wenger is clearly aware that his squad depth is now lacking, but he insisted that he can find the solution to his current problem, per Arsenal:
Per Mewis, Wenger did not rule out making new additions to the squad in January but suggested he would not enter the new year transfer market if he had his squad back to full fitness by then.
Arsenal need just one more goal to take the total during Wenger's tenure to 2,000, and the Frenchman's ambitions have seemingly not dropped in the slightest since the day he arrived at the club, per Mewis:
"I want to continue to develop our results and the way we play football and the club as well. I want to play football as close to perfection as possible."
A perfect performance may be required against the Swans, who got back to winning ways last time out against Aston Villa.
Garry Monk's side beat the Gunners home and away in the Premier League last season and thus will be confident they can pick up three points again this weekend.
But Wenger cannot afford another defeat. His side have looked impressive so far this season, and they are currently tied on points with the Sky Blues.
A second defeat in a week, though, would be very damaging to Arsenal's confidence. The north London outfit need to prove that, despite their injury issues, they are still very much a force to be reckoned with.
Beating a side of Swansea's quality away would do just that.
