The fifth round of matches in the Capital One Cup will be played in the week commencing Nov. 30. Here is the full lineup for the last-eight clashes:
| Home | vs. | Away |
| Middlesbrough | vs. | Everton |
| Southampton | vs. | Liverpool |
| Stoke City | vs. | Sheffield Wednesday |
| Manchester City | vs. | Hull City |
While the majority of the last eight are Premier League sides, the Championship are well-represented by Wednesday, Hull and Middlesbrough, all three of whom toppled top-flight opposition to reach the quarters.
Wednesday were arguably the most surprising winners in the fourth round as they thrashed a relatively strong Arsenal side 3-0 at Hillsborough.

Coach Carlos Carvalhal's side will be confident that they can book themselves a spot in the semi-finals, having avoided the likes of Liverpool, Everton and City.
However, Stoke should have genuine ambitions of reaching the final, having dumped holders Chelsea out of the competition in the last 16, and their home advantage against the Owls could be telling.
City undoubtedly are favourites now to triumph in the competition, having thrashed Crystal Palace 5-1 on Wednesday, and Hull face a very tough challenge at the Etihad Stadium.
But giant-killing Boro have a decent chance at home to Everton, Roberto Martinez's men having only scraped through to the last eight on penalties against Norwich City.

Jurgen Klopp claimed his first win as Liverpool manager against Bournemouth in the fourth round, and the German will surely be targeting the Capital One Cup as the Reds' best chance of silverware this season.
Saints will provide stern opposition, especially with home advantage, but the Reds have a very good chance of making the last four if they can kick on after beating the Cherries.
