Luke Brattan to Manchester City: Latest Transfer Details, Comments and Reaction
Manchester City have signed former Brisbane Roar midfielder Luke Brattan on a free transfer and sent him immediately out on loan to Championship side Bolton Wanderers.
Per Chris Slater in the Manchester Evening News, the Sky Blues have snapped up Brattan after his contract with A-League side Roar was terminated following a dispute.
The Trotters confirmed on their official website on Monday that the 25-year-old's spell at the Macron Stadium will last until January 3, 2016.

Brattan described his move as "once in a lifetime chance", per Australian sources (h/t Slater).
Born in Hull, Brattan moved to Australia as a youngster, and he has been backed to succeed by former Everton and Socceroos star Tim Cahill:
While he has yet to be capped for Australia at senior level—despite being called up to the squad—he has turned out for his country's under-20 side.
He spent five seasons at Brisbane Roar winning three A-League titles, and he was named in 2014's A-League PFA team of the year, per Slater.
He is undoubtedly making a huge step up in signing with Premier League-leaders City, but his experience at Bolton should stand him in good stead before he returns to the Etihad Stadium.
