Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest on Alvaro Morata and Top Los Blancos Rumours

Rob BlanchetteOct 22, 2015

Juventus are reportedly fearful Real Madrid will exercise their buy-back option for striker Alvaro Morata after the young Spaniard's notable success in Serie A.

Mirko Calemme of AS reports Juve director general Giuseppe Marotta has addressed Los Blancos' interest in their former player, saying they are relying on the attacker to make his long-term home in Turin:

"

We're happy with the deal that we concluded last year; there was a lot of scepticism about the signing but he has proved himself to be a fantastic player.

We are counting on his willingness to continue, he's happy here. In any case, we have a good relationship with Real Madrid so we'll see what happens. Our intention is to keep Morata; we are in no doubt about that.

Calemme says the player is entitled to return to the Galacticos if president Florentino Perez sanctions a €30 million offer, though Morata would surely want assurances about playing time if he links up with coach Rafael Benitez's squad.

The 22-year-old has gone from young hopeful at the Bernabeu to primary striker at Italy's biggest club, with the Old Lady faithful adoring their forward after his progression.

Morata featured mainly from the bench last term, scoring eight goals in 29 league appearances, according to WhoScored.com, coming on as a sub in 18 of his games.

However, with Carlos Tevez returning to Argentinian football, Morata is now viewed as Juve's great hope, but they face a battle from Madrid to bring the player home.

Morata was surprisingly criticised by team-mate Paul Pogba for selfishness in Wednesday night's goalless Champions League draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. The Frenchman was displeased, saying, per Jonny Singer for Mail Online: "I was angry with Morata and I hope that in the next match he will pass me the ball in the crucial moment."

The striker will always have an affinity with Los Blancos, but returning at this time, when Real are in transition under a new manager, may not be advisable.

Morata is already featuring regularly for a bona fide European giant, meaning a move to primarily sit on Benitez's bench makes no sense at all.

Belgium Boss Wants Hazard At Real

Belgium team coach Marc Wilmots wants his superstar attacker Eden Hazard to wave goodbye to Chelsea and become Perez's next Galactico signing.

Matt Law of the Telegraph reports the national boss thinks the player "could suffer burnout" under the guidance of Blues manager Jose Mourinho, after Hazard suffered a disappointing start to the new season.

Hazard won the PFA Player of the Year in England last term but has lost his place in the starting XI as the Special One looks to shake up his selection after a string of poor results.

However, Hazard gave a much better showing as Chelsea drew 0-0 with Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League, with Law praising the diminutive talent:

Any deal for Hazard would be fraught with complication, with Mourinho not wanting to lose a major star to his former employers.

However, if the Chelsea coach finds a solution to his current issues with the player, he might be tempted to let him go and bank the money for future signings.

Pedro gives Mourinho a proven talent in Hazard's favoured role, but the Spaniard will have to prove he is up to speed with the Premier League after a difficult start to life in England.

If the real Hazard returns with his form from last year, it will potentially cost Madrid a world-record fee to get Chelsea to sit round the table and do business for their best player.
