Barcelona Transfer News: Domenico Berardi, Felipe Anderson Eyed in Fresh Rumours
Barcelona are reportedly monitoring Serie A duo Domenico Berardi and Felipe Anderson.
According to David Amoyal, a translator for Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Barcelona director Ariedo Braida attended Sassuolo's 2-1 victory over Lazio on Sunday to observe the two players. Both got on the scoresheet.
Berardi's incredible form over the last two seasons has seen him become one of Europe's most coveted young forwards.

WhoScored.com shared the Italian's impressive stats from his prolific season in front of goal last term:
After netting 16 goals during the previous campaign, the 21-year-old has already raced to an impressive milestone, with Serie A expert James Horncastle and Opta Paolo noting his achievement puts him ahead of some illustrious names:
Berardi also works hard for his team, as WhoScored's Cristiano Acconci demonstrated:
The youngster has incredible potential and would make an outstanding long-term replacement for Pedro Rodriguez, who departed for Chelsea in the summer.
What could prove a sizeable obstacle even for Barcelona is that Juventus have the first option on Berardi.
According to Il Giornale (h/t Football Italia), Sassuolo president Lorenzo Squinzi said: "At the end of the season, Juventus can activate their option on him. If they want him then they have the right to take him away, but only for a sum above €25 million."
If Juve decide to pursue the forward, there will be little Barca can do. If the Bianconeri pass on him, though, a move to the Blaugrana would likely tempt Berardi, albeit he would come with a hefty price tag.
Similarly expensive would be Anderson, who has been in exceptional form for Lazio. The winger racked up 11 goals and 10 assists in all competitions last season.

Anderson showed great skill and creativity in completing 102 take-ons and creating 35 chances in Serie A last term, while he too showed his ability to contribute defensively by winning 50 tackles, according to Squawka.
However, as sports journalist Jonas Giaever noted, the Brazilian's consistency can also be called into question:
His stats would back that up, with Opta Paolo revealing almost all of his goals and assists came in one eye-catching spell rather than over a long period:
If he can show his abilities over the course of a full season rather than in fits and starts, he could well earn a high-profile move to one of Europe's elite.
Despite his immense talent, if he's not able to add a level of consistency to his game, then Camp Nou might just be a step too far for Anderson.
