Twitter Reacts to Wayne Rooney's First Premier League Away Goal for 11 Months
Manchester United travelled to Everton on Saturday looking for a big performance from the struggling Wayne Rooney.
And despite United storming into a 2-0 lead within half an hour of the first half, Rooney's performance was providing little encouragement.
"At least four times now Rooney's given the ball away needlessly. You do wonder if Utd should at least try+see if they're better without him.

But with 62 minutes on the clock, Rooney latched on to Ander Herrera's pass to beat Howard and end a long barren run on the road.
