Grayson Allen Ruled out vs. Miami with Ankle Injury
Duke Blue Devils star Grayson Allen won't play against the Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes on Saturday due to an ankle injury.
ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman reported that a Duke spokesman revealed the news.
The junior guard is third on the team this season with 15.0 points per game, fourth with 4.2 rebounds per contest and leads the Blue Devils with an average of 3.9 assists.

Allen averaged just 4.4 points in 9.2 minutes per game during the regular season of his freshman campaign, but he played a significant role for the eventual national champions during their tournament run. His breakout outing came in the national championship game against Wisconsin, when he poured in 16 points and served as an offensive spark plug.
He parlayed that performance into an impressive campaign in 2015-16 with 21.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as one of the best players in the nation.
Although Allen has experienced some peaks and valleys this season and was suspended one game for the third tripping incident of his career, he has been in fine form as of late.
Allen can shoot from three-point range and brings athleticism to the table, which allows him to attack the rim with an explosive first step and serve as one of the team's go-to scorers.
Fortunately for Duke, it still has plenty of talent elsewhere. Luke Kennard can pick up some of the scoring slack on the wing, and Matt Jones is a capable defender who can slow some of the opposition's best ball-handlers. Amile Jefferson is also a veteran leader down low, and coach Mike Krzyzewski brought in a loaded freshmen class headlined by Jayson Tatum.
With Allen out, look for freshman guard Frank Jackson to receive additional playing time against the Hurricanes.
