Manchester United Seem 'Fed Up' with Memphis Depay Attitude, Says Youri Mulder
Former Netherlands international Youri Mulder believes Memphis Depay's attitude is rubbing a number of people up the wrong way at Manchester United.
The Dutch winger moved to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven amid much fanfare in the summer, but he has failed to set the Premier League alight so far this season.
The 21-year-old has shown flashes of brilliance in Europe—most notably in a majestic performance against Brugge in a Champions League play-off—but Mulder suggests he is flattering to deceive currently with the Red Devils, per Dutch outlet NOS (h/t the Daily Star's Rhys Turrell):

"He played one good match for United, against Club Brugge [in the Champions League]. In the Premier League he suffers, yet his attitude suggests that he is a big star. It seems that people at Manchester United are starting to get fed up with this."

Memphis has been underwhelming in the English top flight given the high expectations loaded upon him after his Eredivisie performances last term.
He has scored only one goal in eight appearances and was hauled off at half-time last time out against Arsenal, per WhoScored.com.
Memphis also has a frustrating penchant for giving the ball away, hardly ideal given United manager Louis van Gaal's possession-based philosophy, per WhoScored:
His off-field antics and flashy lifestyle have reportedly earned him a dressing down from United assistant manager Ryan Giggs, who has advised him to "adopt a lower profile while he gets to grips with English football," per Steve Bates in the Sunday People.
At only 21 he deserves much more time to prove himself, but he has undoubtedly frustrated many fans with his form.
Memphis's poor performances are perhaps made more obvious given the early-season form of United's other young summer-signing, Anthony Martial.
The low-key Frenchman has made a terrific start to his Old Trafford career with a number of fine performances, per Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe:
Memphis and Martial undoubtedly have the ability to form a potent attacking partnership in the future, but at the moment the Dutchman is failing to live up to his billing.
