Jurgen Klopp Hailed by Emre Can Ahead of Potential Liverpool Appointment
Liverpool's German midfielder Emre Can has endorsed countryman Jurgen Klopp, with the former Borussia Dortmund coach tipped to succeed Brendan Rodgers as the next Anfield boss.
German newspaper Die Welt (h/t James Dutton of Mail Online) quoted the midfielder praising the popular manager, who departed BVB at the end of last year: "Jurgen Klopp is certainly a great coach. I think he has demonstrated in Dortmund that he can work at any team in the world."

Klopp has always stated his desire to coach in England, claiming the language barrier of working in other countries worries him, with the German speaking good English, per Dutton: "I think that apart from Germany, England is the only other country where I should work. Simply because I know a little of the language and I need the language for my work."
However, Bleacher Report's Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague, has poured cold water over the idea of Klopp arriving on Merseyside as he believes the coach is waiting for the biggest club job in his homeland to become available:

Besides a tumultuous last season at Dortmund, Klopp was rated as one of the best coaches in the world, taking BVB to a Champions League final on a small budget compared to Europe's elite.
He is likely to be given a huge war chest at Liverpool to kick-start the rebuilding process after Rodgers' failed tenure, and with the expansion of Anfield, the club are ready to take the next step towards long-term recovery.
According to the Mirror, Klopp had a 56.7 per cent win rate at the Westfalenstadion club, and his brand of attacking football would be appreciated by the Kop.

The German is ready for a huge challenge, but everything depends on whether owners FSG can sell the ethos of Liverpool to the coach.
Klopp is still very much in demand, so the appeal of the Reds might not be as bright as Merseysiders would hope.
However, Klopp is a man who is influenced by the history of football, and the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Liverpool's iconic managers might be a tempting prospect.
Liverpool supporter DNA is similar to that of BVB fans, and the familiarity of atmosphere could be the deciding factor for Klopp to move to the north-west.
